The adoption Process - as easy as

Coach

Coach is a 22 +/- year old Percheron/Standardbred cross gelding. Coach came to Indiana Horse Rescue to find a new home. He was adopted and cherished as an excellent mount. Due to an old injury, he can no longer compete in shows like he used to. Coach has a laid back personality and loves attention. He is broke to ride and will do anything for you. He had also been trained to drive, however we have not had him harnessed. Coach can hold a rider at a walk with ease, however he tends to be uncomfortable at a trot and may come up sore at the canter. Coach gets along well with other horses and is very good as a baby sitter horse and is very good at teaching young horses herd manners.  He leads very well, ties, stands for the farrier, stands to be tacked and bridled very well, and loads into a trailer with ease.
