IHR Needs Your Help!

We need you!
With the economy we have more adopted horses coming back as the owners can no longer care for them.
Our estimate for July is $3200.00.

Lets get the horses fed! Every dollar helps.

I looked at all the animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of humans.
I saw in their eyes love, hope, fear, dread, sadness and I was angry.
“God,” I said, “this is terrible!
Why don’t you do something?”
God was silent and then he said,
“I have done something, I created YOU!”

We need YOU, now more than ever.

IHR is the largest equine rescue in Indiana to accept ANY horse, no matter the circumstances, regardless of medical condition. We have never said NO and don’t want to start now.

IHR exists solely on donations. IHR is an all Volunteer organization, so EVERY dollar donated goes to help the horses. IHR, alone, has taken in over 200 horses in 2007 and dozens more will be coming our way as the winter season comes upon us. Many of these horses are in need of immediate medical care, farrier attention, vaccinations, dewormer and lots of food.
