Lacy

7/31/10
Lacy was ridden today but Troy feels that she will need a lot of ground work before being ridden again. She is young and has another six months before she is mature enough to be ridden consistently.

Lacy is enjoying being a young mare and loves spending time outside with her buddies. She is such a good girl and hardly spook at anything. She sometimes gets a little excited  if someone doesn't come to pet her for a day or two and may be very exuberant the next time you do see her. She is a very active and social young mare!!!

Lacy is over being skittish around her backend. She has made a total turn around. You can do anything you want with this pretty little girl! She is very calm and laid back, she loves people and being brushed. She knows how to lead very well, trailer, tie, and picks up all four feet. Lacy doesn't mind lunging with a saddle on, unfortunately our volunteers are not small enough to try her out mounted.

Lacy is a young Thoroughbred filly approx 2-3 years of age,
We have started working her in the round pen, lunging, ground work, and have had a saddle on her back no problems.  She is still a little skittish around her backend.  She moves and looks great!  Watch for updates!
