Eclipse 2

7/25/10
Eclipse was ridden by one of our volunteers today and he did very well. He did well with both direct and neck reining. While his injury limits him to flat riding only, he is still sound for trail riding and arena work. Eclipse is very calm horse who would make a great choice for a beginner rider.

Eclipse is a 12 year old registered Appendix Quarter Horse gelding. He leads, picks up his feet, and stands well. He was ridden on the trails but he was mainly used as a youth horse in 4-H showmanship in general English and Western riding. He has an old tendon injury to his front left leg just above the knee that limits him to flat riding only. However, the injury is old and does not cause any soundness issues at this time. Watch for more updates as we continue to work with this gorgeous boy!
