The Adoption Process

The process for adopting a horse through the Indiana Horse Rescue is slightly different than purchasing a horse from a breeder or at an auction. Please follow the steps below to discover what is required of potential adopters.

We ask that all parties read and understand the adoption agreement.

The next step is to fill out our application form and submit it to one of the IHR divisions.
