URGENT NEED!

It is the 23rd of February and we are holding off the wolves by the week.
We have applied for grants and have fundraisers going, but there are still over 100 horses at Central and Southwest that we are caring for and need to continue to feed. Become a member! 100% of all memberships go to care for the horses!

Does your company do any matching donations? Can you send out an e-mail to your friends? There are rescues all over the country that are closing, and that is not what we want to do, but we can not continue without funds to feed and care for the horses.

We need YOU, now more than ever.

I looked at all the animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of humans.
I saw in their eyes love, hope, fear, dread, sadness and I was angry.
“God,” I said, “this is terrible!
Why don’t you do something?”
God was silent and then he said,
“I have done something, I created YOU!”

Indiana Horse Rescue would be without a lot of little items if it wasn't for these donations. Buying a fly mask for your horse doesn't seem like a lot, unless you need 15-30 of them. The same with brushes, buckets, halters, etc. Horses that come from a kill lot or a neglected situation do not come with a halter or a lead rope, your donations mean so much to the horses.

Please come visit to see the many rescues that come in and you will see the many types of horses we see. The horses get love and attention, and always the right feed, but those other little things mean so much!

Our volunteers never get the notice they so much deserve - so we want to make sure they understand how much the horses need them. We would never be able to accomplishment half of what is done without them!
